Partlee is the innovation-led division of the LawCrust group - the reach, resources, and bench of an established consulting group, run with the focus and pace of a venture building something genuinely new. How we hire

Four steps. No tricks.

We read everything you send.

No CV scanners, no algorithmic filtering, no recruiter pre-screen. A human reads every application, including the resume, the cover note (please write one), and any work you link.

First call is exploratory, both ways.

30 minutes with the founder. You ask hard questions. We ask hard questions. If either side decides it isn't a fit, we end the call kindly and that is the entire process - no ghosting, no false hope.

Work conversation, not whiteboard.

We don't do algorithmic puzzles or trivia. We talk about a real piece of work - engineering, editorial, operations - and how you would approach it. Paid case-study if it requires more than two hours.

Decision in writing within 5 working days.

Offers and declines arrive in writing within 5 working days of the work conversation. If we're slow, we tell you why and when. We do not leave anyone hanging.

Quiet, considered work

We are not a Slack-shouting, all-meetings culture. Most decisions live in writing. Meetings are short, scheduled, and have a written outcome the same day.

Editorial standards across functions

Engineers write commit messages like editorial copy. Coordinators write client updates like a writer would. We don't have a marketing voice and a product voice - we have one voice.

The bench of a group, the focus of a division

Most legal, mediation, hospitality, and editorial work runs through the LawCrust group's empanelled professionals and retained specialists rather than a single in-house department. The division stays focused; the group gives it depth and reach.

Discretion is a working culture, not just a product feature

Client matters do not appear in social media, in casual conversation, or in non-essential meetings. We hire people who already know how to hold a confidence.

Compensation is honest

We pay market for the seniority level we want. Equity is offered to all founding-team roles. No exploding offers, no upward pressure on hours, no implied overtime culture.
